 Europe Travel Guide
Travel Europe Ideas

One of the advantages when you travel Europe is that you can get to see many different cultures, taste many different cuisines and enjoy many different architectural styles, all within a relatively short distance of each other, so that they can easily be reached by either bus travel or train travel. Car rental in Europe is fairly straight forward although some countries are cheaper than others and it is best to check with the rental company if you intend to visit the newer members of the European Community. Backpacking in Europe is still a popular way to see the different countries particularly amongst the younger generation who always seem to end up in Amsterdam. Older people tend to use Motor Homes with their map of Europe which may be a way for cheap travel.

With the opening of the Eurostar high speed train, London travel is possible from Paris or Bruxelles, even for a day visit. Talking trains, the French reliable TGF means that you can travel France very quickly, but it is not only the French, there is an amazing train network in most countries so that when you travel Europe, you can just sit back and watch the view. Many people take a flight to Europe to ski at some of the finest slopes in the world, particularly Switzerland, the spiritual home of skiing. Currency in Europe is not the problem it once was, so whether you travel Italy, travel Spain or where ever, you only need the Euro in your pocket. If you go to London though, you still need the British pound but most banks and even some post offices will be able to change your currency. In fact, if you can find a post office, they are often the best places to change money as their charges are often the lowest. If you look at your map of europe, you will see that some countries, like Greece, may be just too far to reach by car, but you can find cheap flights within Europe.

With such a rich historical background when you travel Europe, you travel in time as well.
